Camp Information
This total skills camp is different than most. It focuses on fun and effective baseball instruction. Your child will also receive 90 days free access to a baseball training app.
This camp will include hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, sliding and more. In addition we have over two dozen games that will make it extremely fun and engaging.
About the Coaches:
Marc Warner
Marc is a graduate and former collegiate baseball player at Slippery Rock University (PA) (PSAC - DII). He began his coaching career 14 years ago in the Charlotte area. Marc is a steward of the game; always on the lookout for new ideas and concepts to help develop youth players reach their full potential. Moving into his 15th year, Marc has been a personal hitting and fielding instructor for youth players while coaching a local travel baseball team. He has coached South Charlotte Baseball Academy teams that have competed in North Carolina State (Babe Ruth league / Cal Ripken Trail.) He is a participating member and certified coach of USA Baseball® and American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), as well as a collegiate baseball scout.
Javier Millan
Javier was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Throughout his baseball career in Puerto Rico, he had the opportunity to play baseball at many different levels, including representing PR at several worldwide baseball tournaments. As a Catcher, Javier received a baseball scholarship from Southeastern Community College in Burlington, IA. After college, he continued playing professional baseball in Puerto Rico's AA and AAA leagues.
Mike Papi
Mike Papi played college baseball in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for the Virginia Cavaliers. In 2013 he was selected to the First All-ACC team and was named All American by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Baseball America. He was named preseason All American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association in 2014 and was the the 38th overall selection of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.
